Runa began learning the violin at the age of three and has loved it since. Inspired by a violinist busking in Fremantle at two years old, she has had a passion for performing from an early stage and loves to perform in front of people and playing in orchestras. Runa studied a Bachelor of Music in Classical Performance at WAAPA, graduating in 2017 and plans to travel overseas to further her studies into violin performance.
She is currently an instrumental teacher at two schools, a freelance musician in orchestras and chamber ensembles such as Perth Symphony Orchestra, Camerata 1685, Adelaide Symphony Orchestra and many more.
Runa’s hobbies include music, exercising and travelling- especially to Japan.
