Lila Raubenheimer is currently in NHarmonic, WA Wind Symphony and on the WA Charity Orchestra Committee. Keeping busy producing and stage managing the UWA Pantomime Society’s next show and currently working for her own teaching business called Marcato Music as a private piano, theory and singing teacher. She is also a freelance composer, arranger, transcriber and Sibelius nerd!
Lila is coming to the end of her studies in classical music composition, completed half at WAAPA and half at UWA.
From mid 2015 to beginning 2017 Lila had to stop playing piano and composing due to a bad repetitive strain injury. This gave her a unique opportunity to step back and look at her musical career from a different angle and question what was really important. As she was unable to pursue her main instruments anymore, she started to ask herself how she could continue performing, and along with singing, she started percussion lessons.
Hobbies: choral singing, barbershop singing, acting, patting cats, watching cake fails while baking.
Goals: Learn tap, travel, adopt a greyhound and continue to share music.
